A. Browse through our current list of vacancies to find a role that interests you. Send your CV and cover letter to jobs@betfair.com , indicating in the subject line the job you are applying for.
Q. When will I hear about my application?
A. Due to the large number of responses we receive, we are only able to respond to those CVs that are short-listed. Please assume that if you haven't heard from us within 14 days of your application that you have not been successful.
Q. If unsuccessful, will I be considered for other opportunities?
A. We appreciate the fact that you are an exceptional candidate, especially if you were successfully invited for an interview by us. If you weren't right for the role you applied for, you will be considered for other positions in the business which may be of interest to you, and we would encourage you to keep in touch with us.
Q. Can I apply for more than one position at a time?
A. You may only submit one application at a time. We may consider your application for more than one role, in which case you will be notified.
Q. Do I need a Betfair account to apply?
A. No, you don't have to be a betting enthusiast to work for us. However it will strengthen your application to be knowledgeable about our products.
Q. What is the dress code?
A. The dress code here at Betfair is informal and there are no "dress rules". Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable but remember that it's important to make the right impression!
Q. What is the working environment like?
A. In London, our offices overlook the Thames and are spacious, open-plan and contemporary. We have an on-site canteen and coffee bar, a games room, a TV room and Plasmas throughout the offices showing key sporting events. Our other offices have similar amenities although vary according to location. Everyone here is on a first name basis.
Q. What are the working hours?
A. Here at Betfair our core working hours for most departments are 9am until 6pm, however there will be times when deadlines and projects may require you to be flexible. We are a 24/7 business so shift work is necessary for some of our operational functions.
Q. Where is Betfair located?
A. Our Head Office is in Hammersmith, London with a secondary UK office in Stevenage. However we are a global company with expanding operations in Ireland, Italy, Malta, Romania and Australia.
Q. Is Betfair somewhere I can develop a long-term career?
A. Betfair will always recognise and develop talented individuals. Our Learning and Development department offer a variety of training programmes to ensure our key talent can continue learning and adding value to the business.
